Tim Head
Head established his reputation in the 1970s with a series of ground-breaking photographic installations, earning himself an impressive series of solo exhibitions, including at MOMA, Oxford in 1972, Whitechapel Art Gallery, London in 1974, Arnolfini, Bristol in 1975, Kettle’s Yard, Cambridge in 1978, Serpentine Gallery, London in 1979, and Third Eye Centre, Glasgow in 1980. During the last ten years he has returned to the practice of drawing, examining the varied effects of layers of ink on paper and experimenting with pentel formations of differing strength.
